Welcome to the 4th edition of our newsletter.

Hope your holiday season was joyous and filled with peace. This year promises many new and exciting events from WCI. To begin with, our first Wound Care Symposium, "Principles and Practices of Wound Care" will be held in New Orleans, LA in conjunction with Medtrade and Semco productions. Some of our speakers include: Charles Baxter, M.D., Lawrence O. Kollenberg, D.P.M., Glenda Motta, RN, MPH, ET, Jeffrey Robbins, D.P.M., and Robert Jordan,M.P.T, (More will be announced soon).

We have a very exciting program with dynamic speakers planned. Many opportunities for sponsorship are still available.

As you can see, Newsletter 4 has a new look, we strive to improve the quality of each newsletter. Remember, all are available on computer disk. Linda Kasyan is chairman of the Internet Department and we thank her for all her hard work.

The Institute has many goals this year, but primarily we are planning to produce all sorts of teaching and educational guides for healthcare providers. Our research department is conducting clinical trials in long term care facilities.
