WOCN Convention - Seattle, WA
The Wound Care Institute, Inc. was proud to have a display booth at the recent WOCN Annual Seminar held in Seattle, Washington. WCI was very well received by all attendees who passed by the booth. Interest in the organization seemed to peak when WOCN members found out that WCI was a 'grass roots' organization, without ties to publishing companies, manufacturing companies or other entities.
On display at the WOCN seminar was literature about the organization, free membership application forms, free newsletters on disk, and a computerized demonstration of the Wound Care Information Network on disk. This interactive teaching tool covers all areas of wound care, from documentation to product category descriptions. It also features a comprehensive product and manufacturers' index. Contributions of $ 35.00 or more to the Institute entitle the contributor to a copy of this program. It is our first, official fundraising event.
