The DermaFoam layers are constructed from the highest grade, anti-microbial foam available. This combination creates an extremely durable yet clinically effective sleep surface. The high resiliency of the center core ensures durability and performance.
The DermaFoam cover is made from the highest quality rip-stop nylon material. It is water and vapor proof as well as antimicrobial to greatly reduce the potential penetration of fluids.
The pleated cover design minimizes destructive shearing forces.
The DermaFoam has a bottom, center zipper which greatly reduces the potential ingress of fluid and airborne bacteria in comparison to side zippers.
The low ILD heel section provides pillow-soft support for the patient. The gradient heel support (optional) reduces pressure on sensitive heels. This feature will greatly reduce or eliminate the need for heel protectors.
